LICENSING ROUND SCHEDULE

16 more offshore blocks to be concessioned

The National Petroleum Institute (INP) is pleased to launch the 6th Licensing Round for the concession of areas for oil and gas exploration and production in the country, with 16 new blocks identified for the purpose. Five of these blocks are located in the offshore Rovuma Basin; seven in Angoche; two in the Zambezi Delta; and two in Save.

These prolific basins, expect to hold a vast quality of gas and oil resources to be developed.
